TELE-COMMAND ME!
Sunday, November 30 at Brugherio there was a referendum against the entrance of the town in the institution Brianza Province of Monza and Brianza. 3000 signatures were collected (out of 27,304 voters) and the promoters of the consultation have justified the initiative by highlighting the enormous costs of running a province (it is estimated around 100 million euros per year) and at Monza is a cost estimate, from 2004 to 220 million euros which, in the middle of economic crisis, it might seem like a shameful affront. Their proposal was to abolish the provinces, replacing them in large urban areas, with the "Metropolitan Cities". From the third regional Tg no one has ever talked about this referendum, preferring to focus on what took place in neighboring Switzerland in the same day and on the decriminalization of cannabis cultivation for personal use. The turnout was very low, just over 10% of those eligible, and since it was not quorum in reached, the referendum was canceled. Had there been more interest disclosed in this initiative by the television, which would be the effect on citizens?
